Paul is a subject-matter expert in school safety, risk management, and school operations. He’s served as chair for the TASBO Safety, Security, and Risk Management committee and is a co-host of the TASBOcast School Operations podcast. Prior to his role in public education safety & operations, Paul was a high school science teacher and hunting guide for the Texas Wildlife Association.When Texans need help, they often look to public schools. The Texas Association of School Business Officials (TASBO) is producing a new documentary, “Helping Hands,” to highlight the importance of public education in community safety and disaster relief. TASBO will preview the documentary, discuss the different elements between school safety and community safety, and cover lessons learned from districts impacted during recent tragedies, such as the hill country floods last summer.
