Annual Conference 5K Run/Walk
The TSPRA conference Run/Walk will be back for this year’s annual conference.
However, this year you can participate even if you won’t be able to attend the conference! Much like so many other things these days, our annual Run/Walk will be a hybrid event. That’s right; you can join with your fellow TSPRAns in supporting a good cause, your own health and know that even though we may not be running together, we are still coming together in support of this year’s charity.
The event will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 23 at 7:00 a.m. and you can walk in Denton or in your own neighborhood. Then after you are done, share a selfie on your social media about it with the hashtag, #TuneInToTSPRA5k and #TSPRA21.
This year’s Run/Walk will benefit the Texas Music Project. Since 2003, the Texas Music Project has been at the forefront of supporting music education in Texas schools. Plus, TMP has sought to train in the basics of music and recording technology through seminars, campus events, and partnerships. This year they are also focusing on how music heals.
To participate in the Tune in to TSPRA Run/Walk, simply make a donation of at least $20 to the Texas Music Project. You can donate online at, www.texasmusicproject.org, and learn a little more about them. Then, after you make your donation, we ask that you also take a moment to use the following link to “Register” for the Run/Walk, https://forms.gle/YPF3M1ddRNSt3yTx8. By registering your donation, we can report to the rest of our organization what type of response we had, and the impact we are having on the lives of Texas children through this effort. Plus, we will be able to mail you your Tune in to TSPRA Run/Walk bling/medal to wear with pride.
For those of you who will be running/walking in Denton, we will also email you a possible route for you to use, or hit one of the dreadmills…I mean treadmills at the hotel.
